Library Mindset

This book will be short. My goal is to make you more aware of your

daily actions and how they will impact you in the future. After reading this

book, I hope you will stop being so lazy and finally start doing what you

want.

Part 1 Mindset

The harsh truth of life: 

if you're lazy, unhappy, a procrastinator, it's yor fault. 

Blaming others gets nothing. 

Nobody cares if you're lazy or not, procrastinate or not, exercise or not.

Mistakes aren't as bad as you think.

Stick to your business.

Nobody is coming to save you.

There are 3 Types of People:

a. Never do anything

b. Start and give up

c. Work hard and never give up

Control what you can control.

Doing the things that you're always doing is easy, but it doesn't lead to the growth that you want.

Keep it simple.

"Most decisions should probably be made with somewhere around 70 percent of the information you wish you had... if you wait for 90 percent, in most cases, you're probably being slow (Jeff Bezos)

Speed is crucial. Keep things simple and do things with lightning speed.

Start to think a little bit differently.

"If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking." (George S Patton)

Set clear goals.

Write down your goals.

Don't over complicate.

You will regret it later.

Think a long term.

No good No bad.

Self-Discipline

Do what needs to be done.

Delay gratification. Present and future.

Do it now!

There are no hacks. Start and then learn about various methods to do things faster.

Don't let failure stop you.


Procrastination is the enemy of discipline

Part 2: Tips & Techniques

The law means that the work expands to fill the time allotted for completion. So, if you allow yourself 2 hours to finish a task, it will take 2 hours, but if you only have 1 hour, you will find a way to complete the task in an hour. This is great if you cannot start a project or it takes too long to complete.

work for 25 minutes uninterrupted then take a break for 5 minutes and you will repeat that.

that whatever can be done under 5 minutes should be done now. You cannot delay the task for tomorrow.

you would not miss anything for two days straight.
